Who is this guy?

I’ve been keeping a blog in some form since graduating high school in 2003.  Since then, I spent four years doing my undergrad at the University of Washington (the one in Seattle, not St. Louis) and have returned home to my native California for medical school.  My previous blogging has been pretty general in nature, but now as I sink deeper and deeper into medical school, I think I am going to reorient my writing more towards trying to make sense of my experiences here.  After all, one of the big draws of the medical profession is that I get to see, do, and feel some pretty crazy things, and so hopefully keeping this blog that will help keep track and make sense of some of it.
